The Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law “On amendments to article 17 of the Law of Ukraine “On Militia” and article 17 of the Law of Ukraine “On Military Duty and Military Service” (re conditions for deferral from compulsory military service)

The legislative act excludes chapter eight from article 17 of the Law “On Militia”.

Amendments to article 17 of the Law “On Military Duty and Military Service” provide persons of rank and file and commanding officers with deferred compulsory service for the whole period of their service in the militia.

Respective bill was registered under No. 4821.
